Japan★

In the winter, it is the Christmas season in Japan. There are many illuminations on the street. There are big trees and illuminations. 24th on December is Christmas Eve and 25th December is Christmas. Most of the family spends the time together at home. They eat chicken, cake and snacks with champagne. It looks like a party. It is a big party and they have a good time. Most of the couple also spends the time together. They go to the restaurants which have the good view. They have romantic time and exchange the presents. So, Christmas is a romantic season for Japanese people in the Winter.There are legend. At the night of the day, Santa Claus gives the presents to the children. While the children are sleeping, Santa Claus puts the presents beside them.



New Zealand☆

In midsummer, it is the season of Christmas in NZ. I wonder what kinds of Santa Claus there are. It just likes Santa Claus (Father Christmas) in Japan. He wears clothes. From the end of the November to the end of the January, it is a Christmas season. Compare with Japan, it lasts for long time. New Zealander gives Christmas cards to parents, friends and so on, and also they gives Christmas presents. 24th on December, it is grand. 25th on December, most of the restaurants and shops shut and many people spend the time with their family or important person. It is the hottest season in New Zealand, so people have barbecue in the yard. This is the most romantic season in New Zealand.

New★Zeelａｎｄ

I searched about the holiday in New　zeeland. There are some kinds of holidays there. It is about 11 holidays. The first day of the year, it is called New Year's Day. The second day of the year, it is called Day after New Year's Day. On Feburuary 6th, it is called Waitangi day. From March to April, there are three holiday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday. They are done at the same time. On April 25th, it is called ANZAC Day. The first Monday on the June, it is Queen's Birthday. The fourth Monday on October, it is Labor Day. On December 25th, it is Christmas Day. On December 26th, it is Boxing Day.

＊Oktoberfest＊

I will talk about the things which are done in this festival.

On the first day of the Oktoberfest, a woman who draws on a black cloak which means manto in Japanese takes the lead. Following this, carriages which carry so much beer pass the way. There are parades in this day. The people who manage this festival pass the way with riding horse.

In the afternoon, the mayor says "O'zapft is!" This word is a dialect of Bayern(バイエルン) region. It means let’s drink beer from now!! Only the company of Buluwary(ブルワリー) which make beer is allowed to offer the beer in this festival.


On the second day, you can see much lovely parade. Young girls and boys wear folk costume. They wave hello to audience. This is a main entertainment of this festival.

There are amusement grounds in this festival. The views of this night are so beautiful. Many visitors can enjoy this festival. This is really big festival. We can enjoy eating, drinking and playing. If you have time to visit German in October, you should go this festival.

Festival★

I will talk about festival which is held every year in shizuoka.
There are many original festivals in shizuoka.

For example, tanabata, minato festival, akihasann and so on.

I love festival very much. Every year, I go to some festivals with my friends.

Now, I will introduce about minato festival.
Do you know "zirotyoudoori". It is famous for "shimizu zirotyou" who contributed society.

His real name is Yamamoto Tyougoro. I don't know why he is known as zirotyou. The origin of the name of "zirotyoudoori" comes from the place where his house is.

On the street, many people dance on the festival first day.
We dance with the original music. The dances are called "kappore, nebuta, eisa and etc.."

We have good time there. I participate in that almost every year.

Our group member wears "sarasi and bonntann".

It was very fun for me.

On the second day, we dance again.

On the last day, we can see firework.There are many booths on the festival day. That is why we can enjoy watching firework with eating something delicious food. I like the atmosphere of the festival.

Movie☆

I will introduce a movie. The title is "The　Holiday". Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jude Law are the main casts.

The two girls who broke up with her boyfriend will exchange for their house. They decided to do that to forget their lover and find interesting things. Regardless of that purpose, they will fall in love at their exchange house. They decided not to fall in love, but they finally fall in love.

This movie is really interesting and impressive story. I think that it is very original idea to exchange their house after breaking up. Generally, I think of short travelling after happening like that. It is interesting to come up with that unusual idea. I can fell one's view of love, so I enjoyed this movie. I recommend you to see this.

Next, I will introduce about "Prison Break". This is not a movie. This is a series drama.

The story is that a clever man tried to help innocent his older brother. The main character goes into a prison and tries to break prison with his brother and friends. This is really interesting!! This movie puts viewer in a flutter.

And the main character is so cool. I felled in love with him after watching this movie. His name is Wentworth Miller. I think you will fall in love with him. I like this movie the most. So you should watch this.

I went to England for about one month. It was oversea induction. This was the first time for me to visit there. I stayed there for about one month. In that time, I stayed there for about three weeks with my host family. I stayed with host father, host mother and a cat. From Monday to Friday, I went to the school. I referred to English every day. I enjoyed talking with foreign people in English and eating English foods. I ate potatoes every day. It was a main dish there. The favorite dish in England was fish and chips. I heard that English food is not good, but I like English foods. I visited many famous spot. I visited stone hedge, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and so on. The view of them was so great. I was happy, because I could see those beautiful things on my own eye. I went to London, too. It was a big city. There were so many people. I enjoyed shopping there. I went to Harrods. It is a really famous big shopping center. I enjoyed there, but everything sold there was expensive.

First, I couldn’t tell my thought to foreign people well, but I gradually could. I could feel my growth, so this opportunity to stay at foreign country and study language was great experience for me. In this oversea induction, I had a great experience.

After arriving Japan, I went back to my hometown in Shizuoka. I was with my friends almost every day. I went to Odaiba, Tokyo Disney Land, Fuji safari park, karaoke and so on. I enjoyed being with them. I talked a lot of things with them. I was really happy. I had very interesting time. Almost of us have driver license, so we could drive. I went to many places. I was happy with them.

I had good time with my family. I like the dishes which my mother makes. I ate them. They were really nice. I thought I want to eat them every day. I went shopping with my mother and café. I like being with mom. I talked with my family a lots. In this summer vacation, I could have really great time with my family and friends.
